I have not been here in a few days due to the busy holiday season. Things have slowed down so I thought I would take you on a trip with me to Disneyland with us this past summer. I will start with day 1 which is the day we leave home to head to California.
This day is very exciting for us. My mom, aunt, youngest son and I all piled in the van and headed on our way to Kingman Arizona which is where we stop for the night. It is tradition and we like to break the traveling time up.
We went through Gallup, New Mexico again this year because it is a better way to travel. We like the freeway. The other way is just too slow with the two lane traffic.
We got to Kingman and went to eat at Cracker Barrel. It was absolutely yummy. We usually go to Golden Corral but wanted something different this year.
Then we went to our room at Days Inn at Kingman East. We had a nice room that was pretty big. We went to K-mart and shopped a bit and then to the room to chill and talk about arriving in California the next day.
I will be back soon to tell you more about our wonderful trip which was one of the best Disney vacations we have ever had.

Splash Mountain: Just Before the Drop
I have not been on this blog in a while so decided to just add a fun video here. I will soon edit this blog and make it more appealing too. I plan to come here more often in the near future to tell of all our Disney adventures summer 2014
One of our favorite rides is Splash Mountain. The ride doesn't move at a super fast speed but it does move too fast to video any of the attraction. I know people do it but I really do not know how. I like to enjoy the ride and just don't fine time to tape. I also worry about my camera getting wet.
One time though while on the ride it broke down for a while so I was able to get a little bit of footage. this is right before you head up for the big drop.
Well this was not the only time we've been stranded on the ride but it was the longest time and the only time we've been stranded in a good video spot where I could get my camera out and back in time.
We loved these critters so much. My sons always thought they were so sweet.
So I hope you kick back and enjoy the ride even if it is a short ride.
